Corrective Exercise Prescription

We believe all patients should exercise regularly in some capacity! This may look different for different patients, but it is important for all patients!

Benefits of exercise:

  • Improves brain health and memory
  • Reduces depression and anxiety
  • Strengthens bones and muscles
  • Reduces risk of injury and falls
  • Improves sleep
  • Weight management
  • Reduces risk of cardiovascular disease, infectious diseases, metabolic diseases, diabetes, and some cancers
  • Improves your health span
  • Improves quality of life for people with arthritis

As important as exercising is, it is even more important to make sure patients are exercising safely! We perform posture, movement, and mobility screens on patients to help identify any potential areas that may lead to potential injury for a patient as they are exercising. Based on a patient’s structural, movement, and mobility assessments, Dr. Gronski will help design a corrective exercise regimen to optimize their movement quality. This regimen will also reduce movement habits that create discomfort, increase wear and tear, and interfere with proper movement.
