My name is Dr. Lisa Gronski. I am originally from PA, and I graduated from Lafayette College with Honors in Neuroscience. After graduation, I volunteered for AmeriCorps in Baltimore, MD for one year at an alternative Catholic Middle School where I worked as a math tutor and gym teacher. I went to Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU-COM) for medical school where I graduated with honors. I did Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut and served as Chief Resident at Hartford Hospital. I went back down to FL for Sports Medicine Fellowship at NSU-COM. I can never stay away from the Northeast for too long, so I moved back to CT where I have been practicing Internal Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) since 2015! I enjoy spending my time outdoors with my husband and 3 children!

Connecticut Osteopathic Center was a dream I have had since before I was in medical school. It was founded as a micro-practice in 2022 offering excellent, personalized, accessible, and un-rushed care in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). In 2024, we expanded our services to include Metabolic Medicine consultation. The combination of OMT and Metabolic Medicine is truly the optimal medical vision on how to achieve and maintain health. Current medical practice is defined by insurance companies, quick 15 minute appointments where the physician spends more time interacting with his/her computer than the patient, inability to connect directly with your provider, and costly advanced diagnostic modalities. At Connecticut Osteopathic Center, we are able to get back to the way medicine was meant to be practiced! From initial inquiry, to setting up an appointment, to treatment, to post visit/procedure care, the only person you will connect with is me! In a Metabolic Medicine consultation, I take my time to perform a thorough history and physical exam and truly listen to the patient and educate the patient to help them achieve and maintain health. When I see patients with a musculoskeletal complaint, I use my hands as my main diagnostic and therapeutic tool and help patients restore their musculoskeletal health.
Whether you have an acute or chronic musculoskeletal related injury or have been suffering from a chronic illness for years, at Connecticut Osteopathic Center, you are treated as a unique individual. I take my time to understand your story. I develop a treatment approach that utilizes lifestyle modifications (sleep, posture, ergonomics, nutrition, stress), OMT, and a corrective exercise program to get you back to living your life to the fullest!
