Meet the Doctor
Connecticut Osteopathic Center was a dream I have had since before I was in medical school. It was founded as a micro-practice in 2022 offering excellent, personalized, accessible, and un-rushed care in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). In 2024, we expanded our services to include Metabolic Medicine consultation. The combination of OMT and Metabolic Medicine is truly the optimal medical vision on how to achieve and maintain health. Current medical practice is defined by insurance companies, quick 15 minute appointments where the physician spends more time interacting with his/her computer than the patient, inability to connect directly with your provider, and costly advanced diagnostic modalities. At Connecticut Osteopathic Center, we are able to get back to the way medicine was meant to be practiced! From initial inquiry, to setting up an appointment, to treatment, to post visit/procedure care, the only person you will connect with is me! In a Metabolic Medicine consultation, I take my time to perform a thorough history and physical exam and truly listen to the patient and educate the patient to help them achieve and maintain health. When I see patients with a musculoskeletal complaint, I use my hands as my main diagnostic and therapeutic tool and help patients restore their musculoskeletal health.

What Our Clients Said About Our Services
Dr. Lisa Gronski has developed a specialty in osteopathic manipulation treatment, which is a rare practice. I found her through a friend who is a fellow patient, and am so very glad I did, as she has provided significant relief for neck and shoulder pain that has troubled me for years. She is quite thorough in her assessment of medical/physical concerns and has a marvelous bedside manner. I highly recommend her!!
Lee Tremback
I have been a patient of Dr. Gronski for over two years. I can honestly say that I would not be as physically active as I am today without her exceptional care. After trying several doctors, for a back issue, I have been most satisfied and successful long term , under her knowledgeable care. She has been a lifesaver for me,
Meghan Sandrib
Dr. Gronski is a miracle worker. She has succeeded in helping me with my back, neck and shoulder pain when no other doctors could. I can’t say enough about her professionalism and dedication to helping her patients get well.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect during an OMT session?
- First session is 1 hour. I get to know you! I listen to your story, complete a physical exam, and then provide osteopathic manipulative treatment tailored to your body and issue at hand! I also review diet, posture, work station set up, home exercise routines. Based on your exam, I prescribe corrective exercises to be done at home. This is done in a relaxed, quiet environment.
- Subsequent sessions run 30 minutes. We discuss how the previous session went, any new concerns, and perform OMT.
What are the risks of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine?
The techniques I utilize are very gentle, and the risk of serious harm is very low. However, sometimes your body can respond negatively to a specific technique and result in soreness or unintended spasm. If you have soreness that lasts more than a couple of days, please let me know.
How often are the sessions?
It depends! For an acute issue, you may only need 1 or 2. For a more chronic issue, you may need 3-5 sessions before you start to notice improvement. Some patients with pathology such as stenosis or arthritis find a maintenance visit ranging from every month to every quarter helps keep their pain under control.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes! As part of the treatment, I frequently need to bend/twist different body parts so you will want to wear clothes that will allow for this movement.
